Lynn
Cox received her education degree from Concordia University, Wisconsin.
Her first teaching position was at Pilgrim Lutheran School in
Wauwatosa. She was the sixth grade homeroom teacher, taught Social
Studies in the middle school, and taught Spanish to students in grades
first through eighth. After three years at Pilgrim, the next two years
were spent at Divine Redeemer as the sixth grade homeroom teacher, and
English and Spanish teacher for the middle school. The third year at
Divine Redeemer, she taught one of the self-contained fourth grade
classes. When that year was over, Lynn was privileged to stay at home
and raise her own children.
God also blessed Lynn with the opportunity to teach for a year as a Resource Room teacher for Lutheran Special School at Hales Corners Lutheran Middle School.
When her youngest child began school, Lynn was grateful to again teach at Divine Redeemer in the preschool with the three-year-olds and later with the four year olds. Currently, she teaches fifth grade and loves teaching with Divine Redeemer's exceptional staff, student body, and parents.
Outside of the classroom, Lynn enjoys sports, reading, biking, and spending time with her family. She is blessed to be married to her husband, Nate, and they have two daughters- Jocelyn and Natalie.
