In each of our lives, the Lord blesses us with people that impact our choices and help mold our futures. So often the impact of a truly gifted teacher reaches far beyond the classroom walls. In the instance of Mrs. Jennifer Boris, two grade school teachers of hers, Mr. & Mrs. Cloeter, made such a difference in her life that they inspired her to become a teacher. After graduating from Concordia University, Mequon, Mrs. Boris started teaching in Ohio then came to Wisconsin. Mrs. Boris graduated from Concordia University's post-graduate program with a Masters Degree in Education & Technology. As for her teaching career, she has taught second, third, fourth & fifth graders! She loves teaching here at Divine Redeemer Lutheran School and finds fourth graders to be enthusiastic learners! Mrs. Boris’ husband, Scott, is a kindergarten teacher, though his talents include “turning” beautiful wooden bowls and woodworking. If you ever have a chance to see them, they truly are a work of art! In fact, the wooden cross next to the trophy cases in our school lobby and the loft in one of the Kindergarten rooms was created by her husband. Scott and Jennifer's son, Casey is working as an electrical apprentice. Her daughter, Marissa, is a freshmen at Concordia University- St. Paul Minnesota and wants to become a Lutheran teacher as well!
