Divine Redeemer Lutheran School is a well-run, organized, and clean facility.  This condition doesn't just happen by accident, it takes alot of hardwork, effort, and talents of many individuals.  One such individual is the church and school’s Director of Buildings and Grounds- Mr. Jim Suchocki.  For many years, Mr. Suchocki has shoveled walkways, repaired lawn equipment, installed fixtures, refinished floors, shampooed carpets and even moved walls.  Our own “jack-of-all-trades” originally came to Divine Redeemer from the underground utility construction field and very quickly put all of his talents to work on the heating and cooling system and installing a new gymnasium score board (which were his first projects).  He takes his job seriously, although he will be the first to say he enjoys the family atmosphere at DRLS and the “high fives” and “Hello… Mr. Suchocki” that he receives from the students!  His job is often challenging and dangerous as in the year he recalls doing outside playground work when a rare winter storm moved in and the tree directly above his head was struck by a rogue streak of lightning!  Though his nerves were shaken and the tree eventually had to be cut down, he jokes around that he thought it was a “divine reminder” to get back to work!  One reason Mr. Suchocki left the construction field to come to Divine Redeemer was to find a career that was more family friendly.  Jim and his wife, Jackie, have three older sons, Jake, Ryan and Danny.  Jim’s personal time is spent with family, attending Packer games, bow hunting, and fishing!  Thank you Mr. Suchocki for all your hard work!
