Divine Redeemer has been blessed with an extraordinary and very gifted Physical Education teacher. Terri Anderson's reputation as a dynamic and challenging teacher is well known in the Lutheran school system. She taught five years at St. John’s Lutheran School in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and then for twenty-one years at Elm Grove Lutheran School. She has presented at many of the Lutheran teacher’s conferences and was an adjunct professor at Concordia University- Wisconsin. In fact, Terri has been teaching more than thirty years in the Lutheran teaching ministry! It was her Physical Education teacher in 5th and 6th grade that left a lasting impression on her so much, that she attended Concordia University- Nebraska, and graduated with a secondary degree in Physical Education and Biology. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She enjoys biking, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming! Terri is a proud Nebraska Cornhusker and has her mother, sister, and two brothers living in either Iowa or Nebraska. She loves her three Italian Greyhounds, Ziggy, Zeus, and Peanut, and considers them her “four-legged children”. She works with Italian Greyhound Rescue and often helps foster these dogs. Miss Anderson finds the continual growth of members at Divine Redeemer to be exciting and welcoming. Her favorite thing about teaching is helping students become good stewards of their God-created bodies. She enjoys helping students become lifelong healthy movers! Miss Anderson want students to grow in their social-emotional health with one another. Watch for Terri, her many pairs of gym shoes, her high energy level, and her challenging Physical Education classes!
