Neva Conlon ~ The halls of Divine Redeemer Lutheran School have always been inspiring to the students who learn here.  However, it cannot be stated enough that the creativity and inspiration displayed throughout the halls during the school year are a result of the vision of the school’s art teacher- Mrs. Neva Conlon.  Though it is the student’s artistic abilities that produce the beautiful artwork often on display, it is Mrs. Conlon’s keen eye that sets each piece off in such an imaginative manner.  Prior to helping Divine Redeemer students express themselves through art, Mrs. Conlon worked in Racine, Mequon, and Grafton school districts.  She considers herself to have been blessed with loving and talented teachers during her lifetime that inspired her to make teaching her career.  She began her career by receiving her B.A. from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.  Mrs. Conlon’s favorite thing about teaching at Divine Redeemer Lutheran School is the wonderful children in her classes and their excitement towards their projects.   She truly looks forward to each day she spends with them in the art room and the moments when she quietly allows a child to describe their drawing of a cow, when maybe it more resembles an airplane!  Her talents are not left to only paper, clay, and paint, as she is gifted with an extraordinary singing voice that she uses in the Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church choirs.  In her personal life, Mrs. Conlon enjoys her great husband, Chris, a dentist and her adult children, Elizabeth and Robb!
